Melia Iguazu - Puerto Iguazú

La vicinanza alle cascate e la vista panoramica sulle cascate unica nel suo genere. Una volta entrati nell'hotel si ha a disposizione il parco....le passeggiate per le cascate e tutti i comfort che l'hotel offre attraverso la piscina...e la spa...

L'hotel e' posizionato in posizione strategica per la visita delle cascate.

Il ristorante non e' di buona qualita'. Il bagno dovrebbe essere rinnovato, la connessione wifi dovrebbe essere disponibile anche in camera.

Posto incantevole, in mezzo alla natura incontaminata.Buon servizio, grande gentilezza, ottimo ristorante.

Check out troppo presto. Wi Fi eccessivamente caro.

L'hotel é ubicato all'interno del parco, con vista scenografica sulle cascate lato argentino ed inizio sentieri nel parco appena fuori dall'hotel, quindi la posizione é unica ed in piu' é vicino all'aeroporto argentino. Il personale é gentile e professionale. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite. Il ristorante è buono ma un po' caro.

Nonostante sia inserito in un contesto naturalistico unico, l'hotel non ha charme ne' atmosfera perche' modernissimo ed esternamente lasciato in cemento. Si paga l'ingresso al parco per entrare in albergo il primo giorno, ma questo avviene anche nel lato brasiliano per l'hotel brasiliano ubicato all'interno del parco. Sconsigliato se avete arrivo e partenza dall'aeroporto brasiliano perché il taxi é costoso (con frontiera, dogana, etc.) o se volete visitare piu' giorni il lato brasiliano.

The location is excellent. The building isn't the most attractive but is well appointed and the rooms are clean and fresh. The views of Las Cataratas are fantastic. the food was generally good, albeit catering more for an international market rather than reflecting Argentinian food we found everywhere else.

Staff were very helpful and friendly and speak excellent English as well as Spanish. Falls view room had an excellent view. Hotel is in the best location to see the Iguazu Falls. Tour desk at the Hotel is great with helpful staff.

A bit too expensive for the room and also the restaurant but to be expected given the limited options for such excellent location. An atm would be useful.

Service in general was really nice. Very exclusive location where you can see direct view of Iguazu falls. There is also tour options they offer for outside the park.

It's too exclusive location, Inside national park. So after park hour, you have just 1 restaurant - inside hotel, unless you call a taxi to go out. When you opt to go out, don't forget to ask hotel credentil so that you don't need to pay park fee again.

Most rooms completely renovated. We were concerned about being assigned non-renovated old rooms, and/or construction noise, we experienced none of those issues. Rooms were spanking new renovated and ultra clean, took 2 side by side rooms for family of 4, with amazing postcard type views of the falls, and the pleasing roar of the water. Reception desk was very customer friendly and polite. Excellent communication upfront with customer service managers who personally ensured top quality view rooms, outstanding friendly prompt email communication prior to trip. :-)

The hydraulic construction in new rooms was shoddy, required plumber to visit both rooms to fix leaks, but done promptly within hour of complaint. The food quality at restaurant was good, however the wait was very long, close to 45min for just the appetizers, and another 20min for main course. Th waiters are pretty relaxed in their service (aka "lousy"), you have to go to counter to get attention for wine refills, dessert orders, etc... The wifi reception in lounge and restaurant area extremely limited and weak.

Location right next to the falls and a standard you should expect from a Sheraton hotel and the price.

Service at the restaurant for dinner was not professional.

Location.Luxury. Renovated 3rd and 4th flooors. Perfect falls wiew. Beautifull swiming pool.

Best location in the national park next to the Falls. Definitely recomand.

The location was right inside the park and a short walk to the falls. The breakfast was ok, could have been better considering it is a Sheraton Hotel. The staff were a little hard to understand due to the language barrier, a bit more attention could be made to having english speaking staff employed to cater for these tourists.

The only problem was the bugs coming through the doors early evening which required us to move rooms in the middle of the night.

Is is the only hotel situated inside the National Park (walking distance). Facing the waterfalls from the lobby, dining room, patios, swimming pool and bar is an added bonus. Also, there is a local bus 200 meters down from the entrance that can take you to Igauzu city for 10 pesos. It runs every 20 minutes. I arrived at 1500 hrs and my room was not ready. I asked "grace time" for the last day and they extended it to the same time I arrived. Staff very accommodating. The restaurant is quite expensive for dinner but the food and service are excellent. Also, breakfast is great. Good variety and the fruits are very tasty.

Decor could be a bit more exciting. Bathroom could be better.

The best thing by far is the strategic location of the hotel and of course, the view. Totally breathtaking.

The rooms could be maintained a bit better. They´re quite run down. (details should be taken care of). The price one pays is for the view, no doubt. If you want to do more than just go to the Iguazu Waterfalls, the location isn´t the right one for you because the hotel is "far" from everything and transportation is expensive. Buses are a good option but in the evening they stop running quite early (lets face it, how many people want to go to the National Park once it´s closed for the day?)
